claudia and paul
claudia and paul is an experiment to discover what artistic event would occur if we could juxtapose simultaneous activities. Would our actions appear more meaningful? Each motion, whether it is made by human, animal, object, light or sound is connected and extended by other motions. Each movement by itself is meaningless, boring, cliched, but seen as one component of a larger artistic phenomenon, it becomes important, meaningful.

Requiem
Requiem is a film of approximately five minutes duration. It is centered on an a capella round, by Hayden, called PERFECT LIGHT, sung by an amateur group of women singers. It is set in an ethereal, abstract non-place, filled with flowing tubes of sheer fabric. It is an installation at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts by the sculptor Katherine Kavanaugh. The concept behind the film is that it is created by a fictional character in a novel by artist. The novel is titled The Marketplace of the Dead, and is in revision.
